DENNIS JENDERS
Art. Science.
Mischief.
Collecting and crafting moments worth remembering, through a lifelong pursuit of curiosity and a little mischief.

Dennis Jenders is a strategist and partnership architect at GMR Marketing, an educator and mentor, and a proud lifelong resident of Milwaukee. Blue-collar city, blue-collar habits. He’s convinced the good work comes from being present, following your curiosity, and sweating the details that make the difference.
He’s proudly worked with and for Fortune 100 brands – Comcast, Walmart, Target, Ford, Uber, and the NFL – on cultural and experiential strategy.
Marquette came before all of it. He left before earning his degree, chasing the work rather than the credential, but they brought him back for the better part of a decade to teach the emerging forces reshaping marketing.
He’s spent his career oriented toward what’s next, and contributes that thinking back to the industry. Having searched a long time for mentors of his own, he now works to pass the best of what he found to whoever’s coming up behind him.
His photography is adventure made permanent. National parks, foreign streets, wherever the curiosity leads, shot on Fujifilm for its color and its craft. He works in two directions: the natural world landscapes in his landscapes, and the human one in his street and editorial frames.
Baseball is the love that runs deepest, as much for the strategy beneath the game as the game itself. He’s a Brewers fan, his summers long narrated by Bob Uecker, and that devotion has become a pilgrimage to see every ballpark in the country, oldest to newest.

My adventures in progress. Shot on the move, posted when the moment strikes. Opening and closing the aperture to frame what’s worth sharing.

Collected
I’m new to this. I started buying art the same way I take pictures, by trusting what stops me.
I’m drawn to light in transition, the impressionist instinct for a moment already changing while you look at it.
I’m not building an investment. I’m building a room full of things that caught me. This is one of them.

Chasing
Cathedrals
So I’m chasing all of them. Every MLB ballpark, in the order they opened – oldest to newest. Not a checklist, a timeline. And every so often the list grows, which suits me just fine.

On Deck ↘
Toronto’s next. After Kauffman, the timeline leaps sixteen years in one step from the last of the concrete bowls to the first ballpark that could close the sky over it’s own field – the Rogers Centre.
Back when it went by SkyDome, a retractable roof still sounded like science fiction. This is where the game starts to change. The old cathedrals give way to glass, steel, and something more modern.
